Avaza will host an annual meeting devoted to the problems of the Caspian Sea.

By decision of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, an annual meeting devoted to the problems of the Caspian Sea will be held.

The seminar has been held for the 7th year in a row in the largest resort area “Avaza”, located in the east of the Caspian Sea.

The theme of the forum, as in previous years, will be to address issues relating to the conservation of diverse flora and fauna, in abundance represented by the waters and the environment of the Caspian Sea.

Turkmenistan is actively pursuing activities aimed at the rational and careful use of unique minerals at the bottom of the Caspian Sea, preserving for descendants and residents of the Caspian region unique species of animals, plants and representatives of the marine world.

In this regard, the President has created a special commission, whose main task is to monitor the work being done and measures to improve the problems that have been occurring in the Caspian Sea.
