Mausoleum of Mohammed Bin Said

Located close to the ruins of Sultan-Kala in Merv, Turkmenistan. The age of building hesitates from 10 ages to 12. 

Mohammed Bin Said (also known as -ibn) was a national hero of Zoroastrians, which once lived in Merv. He tried to protect the city and the minds of citizens from Arabs invasion. From VII to XI century the Merv was literally crowded by Arabs and they started to spread their religion heavily and roughly.

Everyone who was against it - was bloodshed or executed, often in groups or whole families. Sadly, even Mohammad, the descendant of Prophet's family was killed too. His followers and friends could find only his head. Later on this place was built a small mausoleum of mud brick with a dome. 

The architecture of the mausoleum is modest and neat. It was decorated richly with mosaics or gold like it was in Uzbekistan.
